Roles and Responsibilities
Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate the activities and operations of the company in conjunction with the CEO
Implement policies, standards and procedures for the consulting work performed by the company
Consult and negotiate with clients to prepare specifications, explain proposals and present engineering reports and findings
Assign, coordinate and review the technical work of the department or project teams
Support or be asked to lead the writing and reviewing of proposals and RFPs ensuring a complete and appropriate response
Undertake client communication, coordination, product demonstrations and other activities to achieve the goal of securing the contract
Proactively build and manage relationships with key enterprise and corporate clients
Lead or support outside sales activities to establish and expand the client base

Qualification and Skills Required
At least 3 years in a similar role
A bachelor’s degree in business or engineering
A positive attitude and collaborative approach to business

Pro-M Consulting Services Ltd. will hire a full-time administrative assistant after 6 months of operation to ensure that administrative day-to-day operations are kept up as the company expands. The position will be filled by a Canadian worker, which will benefit the Canadian economy.

Prepare, key in, edit and proofread correspondence, invoices, presentations, brochures, publications, reports and related material from machine dictation and handwritten copy
Open and distribute incoming regular and electronic mail and other material
Coordinate the flow of information internally and with other departments and organizations
Schedule and confirm appointments and meetings
Order office supplies and maintain inventory
Answer telephone and email inquiries; relay telephone calls and messages
Set up and maintain manual and computerized information filing systems
Determine and establish office procedures
Greet visitors, ascertain nature of business and direct visitors to the employer or appropriate person
Record and prepare minutes of meetings
Arrange travel schedules and make reservations
Compile data, statistics and other information to support research activities

Qualification and Skills Required

At least one year of prior experience in an administrative role
Educational background in business; marketing, communications, accounting, OR training in office administration (certificate, diploma, or degree)
Familiarity with building engineering industry would be an asset
